I am the departed!

Today is the day when I get a move on. The weather is a bit shifty but I should be ok. I spend most of the morning packing the bike and it is getting pretty heavy. I know it wont be a problem when on the road, but lifting it up from standstill is gonna be an adventure. I also thought I could do with less bags but after much trying I had to surrender to reality and use both the rain proof roll-up bag and the backpack. Takes up room, and I can see now I brought to much of everything.
Oh well, it just about fits, here is a picture of it fully packed, including one Brodii who just had try and sit on it.

I’m heading down to Margaret River today, its a about 300KM maybe a bit more, and I expect to get there around 5 or 6 tonight. Hopefully it wont rain on the way.The family was mostly out the door in the morning before I woke up. I would have loved to say goodbye to them all but I slept through my alarm. damn!
Beth was staying behind, and later she picked up Brodii so the two of them where they to send me on my way.

I have had an absolutely fantastic time with the family, I felt like I fitted right in from day one, and getting to know them has been fun. I will have to send them all a proper goodbye, or rather “see ya latar” letter or something. There is no doubt that I will have to return here, and pay them a longer visit. Dan, Beth, Danii, Brodii and not to forget troublemaker Bethanii, thank you all for a wonderful time, I will make sure we haven’t seen the last of each other I’ll be back!
